Here is the link to the device in question:īased on the information you provided, the device you are using is based on 'Magic Control Technology' -> It does NOT have DisplayLink technology within it. If it means anything, I tried this on the same machine under a Ubuntu Budgie install as well with no luck. The VGA & HDMI ports work on Windows but nothing on Kubuntu. The device also works flawlessly on Windows 10 so its not a damaged device. The USB ports (And I would wager the LAN port) on this device works without issue.
